Just sharing ... got my adjustable focal length M42-NEX adapter today and tried out on 2 of my M42 lenses - Helios 44M-6 and Jupiter-9.

Helios at MFD of 0.5m:


Helios with adapter fully extended:


Jupiter-9 at MFD of 0.8m:


Jupiter-9 with adapter fully extended:


Jupiter-9 between MFD and adapter MFD. This should be about 0.4m:


Result is not bad. I keep this on Jupiter-9 as the 0.8m MFD is too long sometimes.
