Sony A7 II

When I use the 135mm f1.8 with adapter on my a7r, the connection might break off especially during from landscape to portrait. Maybe too heavy and so, the risk is there if having the adapter.

Switch to the A7S mount.

But are you posting in the right thread? This is for the A7II not the mount plate issue

Is it just me or the AF is not as fast as A6000?

it was not suppose to be as fast as A6000 AF. Sony only stated 30% faster than A7. A6000 AF speed might be for A9.

A9 it is then.

Saw the A7mk2 at the Sony shop in Hong Kong. Tested the 55 at the widest aperture at 1/15 thereabouts and the final image was nice and sharp. The body was not noticeably bigger than the current A7 series. Noticed that the scroll wheel that controls the menu allows the control of image magnification, just like the RX1.

Hi,may I know A7 II compare with a7s... Which is better for landscape shooting?

Just some of my thoughts ...

Do you shoot landscape handheld? If so, maybe A7II is better as it has IBIS of up to 4.5 stops (Sony claims). Usually, I use a tripod or clamp but sometimes you have to rest it on some structure to shoot.

Do you use rangefinder mount lenses? If so, A7S may be better as it has lesser corner issues. This is assuming A7II is the same as A7.

Thx for reply~

Hmmm... I using tripod also~ if a7ii with FE16-35 still the same problem with lesser corner? or the sensor problem?

U should by A7r for landscape

Don't like a7r

Hi i shoot landscape and architectura and i think a7s is very good for video and night shooting but for landscape you want more details and should have tripod for dark times and a7r is much better there because is 36mp

Thx for reply and your suggestion ~

If the new a7r come with IBIS... I will thinking of it~

B4 I going to travel must get a new camera

most likely will only available for sale next yr Jan
