Sony A7 Battery drain / Weak battery life issue

Only one battery la. If all, I faint. So, today charged that battery. No use n wait for 2 weeks. If drains auto, will send back to Sony cause it come with the unit.

Lucky. I don't think you can repair it. Perhaps you can check with their service center if you could exhange batteries?

I don't even know you, why would there be a need to "personal attack" you? You think too highly of yourself lah.

But I do have a view with regards to the topic at hand.

Funnily, I happened to work in one of companies that established NFC. I wouldn't even dare making such conclusions without considering the multitude of variables.

So I guess you must have real good data to back up your claims. But alas, it was not to be. Is it not fair then to advise that more a pinch salt is required?

I didn't know questioning validity amounts to baloney. And no, I have not kept myself busy with any of your other posts on cameras, lenses, flash, etc. In fact, your posts on this thread are the first I have seen from you.

Going for 1-1 exchange if auto discharge. Just brought recently, receipt still there.

I'll do a small test later today. Apparently last night, when I attached my Kipon M to E mount helicoid adapter to the A7, the menu went crazy and camera started to run the iso, etc by itself.

I suspect the lens/adapter attached to the A7 affects how the camera behaves.

Sony is generous with its batteries to buyers on PwP options. So u will often see sony batteries gg on sale on classified. Mkt rate is $50-75 thereabouts.

ok update: after trying my M mount, Helicoids, LTM, M42 mounts, I think, certain adapters when mounted on the A7, causes battery drain. I dunno which mount/adapter does that for sure, but my screw mount adapter on the A7 was not a good pair. Will try and find out more behind the science of it.
