FE 70-200G
Taken using the 4D continuous AF mode. Works very well for shooting concerts.
Hi, am a new user here.
I'll be appreciative if you can share what's a "4D" continuous AF mode in A6K? Or a link to read up?

Enable wide AF & switch AF mode to AF-C
Doing this will enable the souped up AF feature
Hi folks, i'm new A6000 user. I've the 16-50mm kit lens.
I'm looking for a zoom lens. But I'm wondering if 55-210mm can be considered a good choice compared to 18-200mm lens.
I heard from someone mentioned in a overseas forum, all-in-one purpose lens(18-200mm) lens usually would be compromised in photo quality, if we compare the photos taken using a short zoom lens, for example 55-210mm lens.
I'm not sure this is true.
Therefore, would like to seek for your advice.
Another non pro opinion. Try to look at the MTF chart. It will tell you how well the lens perform under different configurations. From there u can agar agar know whether the lens suits u.First of all, I think you should post this in the A6000 thread, not here.
Secondly, in my opinion (not a pro), a lens IQ is not relative to other lens. A good lens is a good lens. For example lens A may be better than lens B, but that doesn't mean lens A is good. It could mean both are crappy lens, just that the level of crappiness is less in lens A.
As for compromise in IQ of lenses. I think zoom lenses are generally compromise compared to prime lenses.
However, that doesn't mean all zoom lenses are bad. There are very good zoom lenses and also crappy prime lenses. So as I mentioned, it's not a relative kind of thing, but rather a stand alone.
If you want to compare, compare lenses that are similar in focal length. It's fairer.
Also there's issue of price, size, weight, purpose.
My opinion and I'm not a pro.
