Sony A6000 image sharing thread

No idea..
it's just so rare to capture 2 rainbows...i have not even seen it myself before :)
Barely even manage to see one rainbow let alone 2

Haha ya guess I was pretty lucky. Was quite surprised when I saw the second one. The weather was quite erratic that morning.

Tying out at Seletar...

Lucky my timing just nice for this event in Sydney. Similar to iLight Marina here.

It's been many many years since i last shot fireworks..
But since I brought my baby out today to test if she's afraid of fireworks, i decided to shoot also..thankfully she didn't cry and enjoyed it while i shoot hehe..
Taken with the A6000 and SEL1018 in JPG only...simply because i used my handphone playmemories to shoot while sitting down on the bench while the camera was at the railing 15ft away and i forgot to configure it to shoot in RAW mode so only JPG.

Thanks man..It's actually just a rehearsal for the National Day Parade. So they basically just went through the motion and shot some fireworks into the sky..not alot..maybe just 2mins worth...I actually find the shorter fireworks better than the full blown 15min ones because after 5mins, the sky get too smokey anyways.

Haha, i also no khaki..so i went down with my dad and wife and baby...family outing and shoot at the same time :)
Well, you got many more weeks before NDP to shoot..Maybe next year will be better since location finally change..floating platform boring liao..so many years exactly the same thing..no new ideas one..

Taken using Sony E 10-18mm. The a6000 seems to be quite capable of retaining shadow details. This was shot where the light was more casted on the top of the cliff and did a fair amount of shadow recovery as this is a single shot image. Pretty good shadow details in the end.

Wentworth Falls, Sydney.

Taken using Sony FE 70-200 f/4 G OSS. Very fast focusing and decent details. This lens seem to go well with the a6000, utilising the fast autofocus on the body.

Taronga Zoo, Sydney.

Another to share. This time a 4 frame panorama shot on the SEL 10-18mm. Sky wasn't good so had to wait till later in the evening to do this.

Pretty good low light performance and background separation!

I'm amazed with the images shared here. I myself JUST gotten the A6000 with kit lens and also SEL35F18. Cant wait to go shooting!

Hi, I'm also interested in getting your set up, May I know where did you get from and how much did you pay for the kit set and the 35mm?
