Quick question: tested the A6000 with the SEL1670z and the kit lens.
Couldn't tell the difference on the lcd screen.
Is the zeiss lens worth that much?

Actually you can already get the a6k with kit lens for under 1K

ANyways, for those who already eyed the A6k, that is still a better camera.
But this camera has the same AF system which is the a6k selling point....so this will be a fantastic pocket camera.
Depends on your needs i guess...for enthusiast, the a6k might better because you do want to use external flash/triggers with the camera and a mode dial is useful to switch mores on the fly...EVF maybe not that important...this a5100 really is a fantastic pocket amateur camera...jut not for people looking to do more.

Eh..maybe i wear bigger jeans...but i do carry my a6k with the kit lens in my pants pocket quite often when i don't want to use a bag..
Or put into the side pocket of the cargo pants...

Side pocket may do, else you will scare all the girls if you force it. In the front pocket
