I manage to try D300. The interface is pretty clunky but the somehow, the colour is vibrant as compared to A700. I think the D-Lighting is pretty good.

because by default the Sony built-in post processing is very low, you need to adjust it via the creative style.

As for the built-in post processing..yes, you are right, but sony then tends to make your skin more yellower than intended. Hence now I use more neutral and later do my post processiing to increase vibrance...

hello guys, just to clear things up, i'm currently working for sony booth. free gifts as follows are the BEST already ...

- alpha bag with addidtion battery
- sony tripod or something equal
- two 4gb CF cards, one sandisk 4gb extreme 3, other one one is lexar 300x 4gb card.
- body or kit set with one batt included.

that's about all. pricing isn't very good but the extended warrenty would be definitely worthwhile!

As often stated, the freebies that are given are often useless for the ongoing customer base but useful for starters/1st time ppl... it doesn't hurt to go and try asking for changes of freebies though almost 80% of the time they say no... then you can turn and start snapping away at the sony girls lol...

1. Decent Tripod. Can't rem what brand but looks pretty sturdy...
2. Sony Starter Kit with Sony Rectangular Camera Bag with Extra Battery
3. 1 300x Lexar 4GB CF card
4. 1 Sandisk Extreme III 4GB card

Should have asked for a screen protector as well!! haha!!

But I got the extra 2 year warranty... so got another 2 years free... Total 5 year warranty on my A350... hehe...
Only drawback is they didn't have the Vertical Grip in stock... so I gotta go to Funan Centre to collect it...

The Dual lens kit it gonna be $1699... so plus ur VG... is $1898.

Extra battery should come free together with the Sony Camera bag and other stuff like tripod and 2 4GB CF cards.

Not dealer lah... Got it from Koelsch. He's working at the Sony Booth by Harvey Norman on the 4th flr...

The CF cards seems pretty standard... but make sure u check that they put everything n the bag... and on the receipt... cos they may 'shortchange' you... I had to 'remind' them that there was supposed to be 2 CF cards... and that tripod... Not that I don't have enought tripods at home... haha!! Got like... 4 tripods at home already.. all different sizes... and 2 monopods...

But the Extreme III is only 30MB/s while the Lexar 300x is a 45MB/s card... that's even faster than the Extreme III!

there's an option of extended warrenty by harvey, but with any problems, you have to go back straight to sony themselves. extended warrenty can get from harvey outside but at this IT show, we're giving 2yrs FREE when you buy two years. the price varies but the a350 kit extended warrenty will cost about $152.

hehe ps bro. you called me and i thought you were far far away =x. because the cashier and myself abit blur sometimes. the sales thing must write properly but if talk to the redeption side ppls ( managers of harvey i think ) they will still throw in the standard stuffs.
