Good choice on A300.... I read review that A300 has better noise control after all compared A350.

haha, dont think will be selling in the near future la, so no worries :b
but seriously, i think most cameras are more moisture-proof than we perceive them to be. thats my experience with a canon compact and my sony dslr so far :)

wah bro.. "badly soaked"..u say out liao next time u want to offload the body and lens people will be scared one leh.. :bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

haha.. anti-water got liao mah... those chemicals you use for car windscreen repels droplets quite well i thought.. but please do not use them on your lens! :bsmilie:

Beside sony lens, can other brands of lens like canon/ nikon fit into sony dslr too?
I'm really clueless abt dslr cams.

Unless someone built a converter for diff mount, else I think it is impossible..... else alot of people can switch their investment (lens) easily.... ;)

Nope. And though it's possible to buy an adapter, you lose autofocus, etc. This is true no matter which DSLR you have, including the Canon and Nikon ones.

But Sigma, Tamron and Tokina have lenses for the Sony / minolta mount. And you can use all the old minolta AF lenses.

See here for a fairly good list of lenses compatible with the Sony Alpha cams:
