Why u guys buy so many accessoriees? I think I shld not be the one maintaining this list. I only got a UV filter and a +4 filter for my Sony 717. :embrass:

any of you tried the Canon G3's 1.75x teleconverter? It might be an alternative to B300 or the massive Sony one and costs less ~$156 after GST.

But G3's filter thread size is 55mm, same as G2, right?

U mean the TC-DC58N? The one with the 58mm threading. Its not so compatible with the 717, as it doesnt give sharp images overall.

perfect fit for the 7x7 cameras but cannot carry extra accessories except mem stick.

2. metz mz-3 flash - $220 from CP
waiting for the sca 3602-M2 adaptor to be out from metz in feb/march which provides for TTL flash

would you need to connect the Sony cable to the adaptor for TTL? Sony's own flash does...

Does the sony wide angle lens has blurring or distortion at the edges?

Definitely Sony's I will not recommend the Vitacon. While it works, the edges are blurry.

There is a cable from the flash which you need to plug in to the accessory port for TTL
