Check the link he gave, the focal lens is stated as 0 mm.

I will try it later with my A900 (I have both 50mmF1.8 DT and 50mmF1.4), once I back home. I never use the DT lens on my A900, but I did enable APS-C when using a FF lens. I remember, The file size is smaller.

The focal length would be gibberish cos he depressed the lens release... technically the lens is no longer communicating with the body. I checked the Flickr account but the photos are all downressed with no EXIF... I have no information about the original file size though... I think only pbase now allows full sized uploads and only in the paid accounts... :(

Sorry for the misunderstanding guys ): What you have to do is just, shoot in manual mode, prefocus and depress lens release the camera will still release shutter (but not in A, P, or S mode) it'll shoot at Full Frame. It's like you are using a adaptor for other lenses like m42 mount or some sort :D

Like these 2 shots, i had shot it with a Sony 11-18 DT on my a850 metered manually and you can see obvious vigettings. It may be ugly to some but i kinda like the effect :D

Hello Brokendown, great vignetting effect!!! Very interesting to note that the shutter will release in M mode. Did you change the custom function?

Beautiful, where is it?

Turkey! (:

thanks man.. i've always left the aps-c crop function to "OFF". Hope this is useful to alpha users out there!

The 1st picture you took it while you're in the air? It seems like you are parachuting... :bsmilie:
