i'm sorry if these questions sound stupid...

1. in bulb mode, is a a setting i can do to press once to open shutter and press once to close it? now without the remote, i need to hold the button down, and often slip before attaining the duration i want.

2. when i load in a used film, to advance to the point, i just cover the lens and snap till the point right? can't advance without opening shutter right?

back when i had the 5, i did the same thing as you said. that seems like the only way to do it, unlike on the 7 where you can advance film to whichever frame you want.

if you have i date model, remember to turn off the date imprinting otherwise you will ruin the original exposure. yeah, i realized this a bit too late...

thanks. that's a good reminder. probably won't think of it even though i keep my date off almost all the time. would have gotten a non-date version but it was out of stock.

sigh... so dynax 5 with features so fully packed still have something that i need but is lacking, and all other advanced features i have no need for it :P (or dunno how to use, hehe...)
