Wow Nice! You must have been quite far from the water front from the looks of the pano...

Hart, is the A900 considerably slower than the A700. I read your earlier posts but it's not so clear in what areas specifically it is slower than the A700? Would this gulf in speed be fixable in a firmware upgrade?

When you use 12mm, everything looks very far... I was on the end of the beach so not that far.

Anyway, A-900 is not considerably slower than A-700, just a little slower as compare to A-700. Anyway... just use the A-700 again and the VF looks so small... hahahaha...

I am now in the edge where I am thinking selling the A700 and buy another A-900... but think I need to upgrade my iMac to Mac Pro before buying another A900.

AF of A900.

Just feel a tad slower... but not significant. But it has better accuracy.

Hmm.... the accuracy would be more important for me... but I'm really reluctant to shell out $4000 for a camera that would make me renovate my PC just for the file size issue... hopefully SONY releases a 12-16MP FF DSLR... otherwise I would just trade up to a A700... I miss using my FF lenses as they were built for though... tough decision... but I'll wait for PMA 2009 and see if SONY will make an announcement... play the waiting game...

Well, buy it if you need it... if not A-700 is great.

I bought it as I need it... I would have bought something else if I am shopping around. But I think the images from A-900 is great.

I have to downsize the images so it is faster to work... details are great.
