My personal view.
I think it will be helpful for critique seekers (especially those posting under Critique Corner) to provide more information about their work. The simple act of putting down in writing the following will help the critique seeker to be clear about his/her own work and help viewers to provide more relevant feedback.
1. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work
2. under what circumstance is the picture taken (physical conditions/emotions)
3. what the critique seeker personally think of the picture
providing any of the 3 points, or even all of the 3 points, will definitely make critique sessions more meaningful and productive.
