Sharing some common Birds captured for the past few months.

Long Tailed Shrike
D300, 500mm VR + 1.4 TC, F5.6, 1/500 sec, Flash @ 1/64 and Tripod.

Banded Woodpecker
D300, 500mm VR + 1.4 TC, F5.6, ISO 1100, 1/30 sec, Cable release, Flash at 1/64, +0.3 EV and Tripod.

Little Heron
D300, 600mm VR + 1.7 TC, F8, 1/125 sec, Flash @ 1/64 and Tripod.

err...me local malay la! but got many pinoy pals at work and my cousin even married one. i've seen some places in the islands of phillipines, some are lovely.
