Can anyone identify what is the mount that is on the hot shoe? This probably just solves all the problems of having two rigs for two POVs!

FYI, some have experienced issues with their GH3 hotshoe loosening, so I wouldn't load too much. A single GoPro is probably quite safe. I've had no issues with mine, with a metz 58AF2, or z96.

If the arm on your edelkrone is a standard 15mm rod, you can get add a few Kamerar pico plate for all your other accessories.

I received mine just 5 days after ordering.
Try the Syrp genie motion controller/intervalometer if you're doing night motion timelapse. Otherwise, the GH3 already has built-in timelapse function.
Oh yeah, did you get a new or used GH3? May be good to check if the body firmware needs to be updated to v1.1/1.2, which addressed an issue some had experienced with the built-in intervalometer.
