Sorry for posting the question here...as I hope to get answer from some of you experts here...

I would like to copy the sound from a VCD, and make the sound into audio CD so that it can be played on a regular CD player (I don't have a VCD player). Do you know what software that can do this? I don't mind using multiple software, as long as the quality of the sound can be as good as the original VCD sound.

The VCD is about 1 1/2 hours.

Thanks.

Professional video editting softwares such as Adobe premiere would allow u to do that. But a free (I believe) software from RAD agme tools would allow u to do that as well. But I do not know about the quality. The software is known as Rad Video tools. Site is at www.radgametools.com

I just tried VCDcutter, but then the mp3 files that it generates can't be used to burn into audio cd. My cd burner software says the files is not a compatible format...is there anything I miss out setting in the vcdcutter?

Thanks.
