Oh, the package comes in 2 funky Lastolite-blue carrying case. :bsmilie: Total damage: $500 (incl GST)

Hi. May I ask if this is for 1 set (stand + softbox) or 2 sets?

If you upgrade to Jinbei, will you be selling these? ;p

Yup, one long case for lightstand and one round one for the softbox (like those for reflector).

It's application is different from jinbei. So, I won't be selling off this baby so soon. :nono:

Omg the lastolite looks good. I can't decide whether I want a SB-900 or to use my SB-24 on one of these more.

Ok. No SB-900 for me. I shall get one in June :D

Any photos or links to show? Want to see how it is like... Thanks.
Here's a link of Photoflex LiteDome XS

Dimensions - 12x16x9" (30x41x23cm)

Comes with the bracket to mount the LiteDome onto a Lightstand and the same bracket also mount the flash.

Just happen to bump into this thread.

60cm easy foldable softbox (comes with bag) coming soon (around April) in www.tagotech.com
Price not firmed yet, similar to our other products, it will be the best (if not one of the best) value around.

Cool! This is the same thing I bought from Alan Photo at Funan @ $90. How much will you be selling them?

Then we'll price at $89 :> just kidding price not confirm yet.
Did you buy 60cm size? There're 2 other smaller sizes...might be good for on camera flash with/without flash bracket (not remote flash)

Bro I started this thread and now you found me the solution, tell me when they arrive I will be your first customer for this softbox I am testing around shooting through white umbrella and I am convince that Flash could be use off camera to create nice lighting. Softbox could give a better control. Hope you could bring in the bigger size softbox.:)

Bro, don't mean to rain on your parade.

I did a quick review on this product before, please check ur version (a) allows to flash to be 'inserted' into the back of the softbox, and (b) ballhead joint is strong enough to hold to combine weight of the softbox and the flash.

Overall, it's good value for money.

Refer to the previous post. To maximise dispersion of flash, IMO, the flash should seat as close to the opening as possible.

As an added plus, the Lastolite swivel adapter is also an umbrella holder. [I'm not selling anything or related to Lastolite] :bsmilie:

Thanks for the photo of the lastolite, but now I'm in another dilemma. For the price of the lastolite I could probably get 2 of the cheap one, 2 cheap light stands and 1 SB-24/25/26 and/or wireless receiver. But the finishing of the lastolite looks really really good.

Being the cheapskate that I am though I might probably end up with quantity over quality for now.

Photography is a hobby, so spend within your means. Think carefully and buy once; changing your mind later or upgrading cost money. :nono:

Lastolite quality is top notch. I have bought and sold off the Photoflex kit which cost more (See below). Manfrotto lightstand quality is  too.
