The pressure of feature rich 5D mk2 will be high on A900. A900 is a solid camera with excellent basic features, but competitive market forcing them to provide more now. Currently A900 is very attractive to Minoltians but to cope with direct competition from other DSLR makers, Sony should increase its feature-line.
IMHO Sony will be giving out more feature rich models, after the current minolta legacy owners fill the sales for the top model. For the top line maybe it takes around 1yr to satisfy the market but after than we'll see discounts and more featured models. I guess the cropped sensor users can get a newer model earlier for the replacement of A700 especially with liveview and movie-recording mode.
