Since snapshot is the word of the moment! :bsmilie:

Thanks teerex for the help in what to expect, etc.. Still can't find you guys' favourite path. Got as far as the sundial, walked around for a moment more, then was hungry (went after work in the morning, so reached around 12 pm shot until 2 pm).

Sun was so-so, a bit not there sometimes. Anyways this time I decided to be more normal (I hope). But er, don't worry, there are still weird colours for all of you!

Thanks for viewing, all C&C welcome.

i like the 1st and 6th......
love the composition...

what filter do you use pal?

Hi night86mare,

Nice compositions in your photo's.

Much better thought and captures than what I took when I was there

#7 is a nice effect.

I do notice what "I assume" is a rather heavy hot spot in your pictures.

Care to share what lens and settings you have been using ?

Cheers :)

Thank you for the kind words, Pablo!
I'm using Sony H2, no lens since it's a fixed lens prosumer. Generally it's a mix, I did not remove the EXIF settings, but yeah, I know what you mean by the hot spot thing, no idea what it is or whether it is really a hot spot though. The trouble is when I use f/2.8 (the largest my camera can offer) there is not enough detail for my liking. So I guess have to compromise.

Anyways, settings, for common ones, all ISO 80, and center metering, manual focus for most
#1, #2, #3, #6 - f/5.0, 4 sec exposure
#4 and #5 (same picture) - f/5.6, 5 sec exposure
#7 - f/4.5, 5 sec exposure

I wish I could use f/8.0 for more DOF but unfortunately, the spot thing is too apparent then already.

Your snapshots and PP are getting better at each session.

But I still prefer more sharpness. Like you always say, matter of personal preference.

Thanks for the comments!

I also want more sharpness, actually. But I guess with this cam, not too possible unless I want hot spot heaven. When I get my K100D or K10D then - which seems quite good for IR with tripod, since I'm used to it already. :bsmilie:

#1 is nice.
looking forward to seeing the pic with the completed flyer.

Yeah, me too. I took a number of flyer shots but dumped them because it looked so blatantly incomplete. =D
