Smallest Stabilisation System for Video Camcorder

Manfrotto's ModoSteady, the smallest multi-function (shoulder support, camcorder stabiliser, table tripod) stabilisation system for lightweight video camcorders is now available at Cathay Photo.

The stabilisation effect can't really compare with that of steadycam systems like Merlin but it is way more compact and light and costs less than 20% that of a Merlin. Should be great for travel use which is what I got it for.

Seems to sell a lot cheaper here than in the States where it goes for ~US$180.

really looks like a MErlin rip off.. the merlin is SGD1.5k now.. entire set with vest SGD3.5k at CP
