Hello everyone,

Here's what we have discussed over kopi this morning.

Frames and Printing
Please all use the ones from IKEA. Clubsnap user FEI has agreed to help us buy the frames on our behalf. Let's not use the $50 fund for this.

I am going to enforce the size of your printed images (with exception of Billy and Desmond cos they doing odd sizes).

The following are the image size you can print because that is what the IKEA frames allow you to:

49 cm x 69 cm
50cm x 70 cm
29cm x 39 cm
40cm x 50cm
50cm x 50 cm (Ikea frame price - $17.90)
29 cm x 29 cm (Ikea frame price - $17.90)

I spoke to the Wall Your Photos boss (Wall your Photos | Home) already. Upon confirmation of your choice of photo to showcase, please do the following:

1. Send your final image via Yousendit to them at print@wallyourphotos.com
2. Identify yourself as a showcase participant and leave your CS name, real name, phone number

THE PRINTING WILL BE PAID WITH THE $50 FUND.

Write ups
As stated previously, I need two write ups from each of you. One about yourself and one about the image. Keep it to 200 words each.

Some tips
About yourself: When you start photography, when did you switch to MF/LF, why you like MF/LF, what do you like to shoot etc
About photo: camera, film, iso, who what when where how why etc

No need to put everything that I mentioned, put what you deemed fit.

Clubsnap user Papoopa has volunteered to compile and send to print at Sunshine. Paid using $50 funds.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE URGENTLY

1. Please confirm your image print size (refer to above) as well as choice of image
2. Once I have the full list, Fei will take order for buying IKEA frames.
3. Send your confirmed image to wall your photos for printing.

Hi Sprewell, I already bought my frame (100cm x 70cm) and printed full frame. Able to run with this size? Was expensive.

Hello everyone,

An update. I have sorted out with Wall Your Photos and they will be doing all the printing for this showcase.

This is what YOU need to do.

1. Send your final image via Yousendit to them at print@wallyourphotos.com
2. Identify yourself as a showcase participant and leave your CS name, real name, phone number
3. Call the business owner Boon Kee at nine-452514-zero to arrange an appointment (usually the weekends)
4. Go down to meet him so that he can advise what kind of paper to use for your selected photo.
5. If you are not available to go down to meet him, please tell Boon Kee to exercise his expertise and choose the paper for your print.

You have until 9 September to do this.

the printing costs have been taken care of. You just need to choose the paper and print. I will settle the final bill at the end.

Again, please confirm your print size as soon as possible.

Due to space constraints, I am limiting the number of 69x49 prints to a maximum of five. First come first serve.

can we choose if we want the thicker border frame or the thinner border frame??

I spoke to Jaiyen.

His chosen shot cannot be cropped to 5x7 so I recommended 39x29 instead.
