How to shoot and review pic if you remove the memory?

If there is no memory card, you can shoot in demo mode. picture will still show up on your LCD.

Precisely, that's to remove one of the variable, isn't it ? So much speculation into this and that, but still considered wild guesses until we look at the problem systematically. Since TS says previously didn't exhibit the problem, I suppose we need to first isolate that it's not the storage issue at all.
