Slik Pro400DX

How is the Slik Pro400DX tripod? Izzit good?
I'm juz a beginner in photography.

Why not considered the Slik Able 300DX. IMO It's good enough.

Try the Slik Pro 500DX with Manfrotto #352RC head. Tall & Sturdy

Sorry, I forgot which model I tried, but the point is...

I had a 352RC head... and I wanted to get a Slik PRO CF model... got one (can't remember the model) and fit the head on... and only to find out, the screw is too long for the head... unlike Gitzo tripods, the head screw can't be adjusted in length, so either u have to sand it off somehow, or get it changed, which was what I did...

i did tried it on another 352RC at Cathay and result was the same... so changed it for Gitzo one... SIGH...:dunno:

Anybody had any experience with the Slik 300 Monopod? Will it be able to stand on its own?

monopods don't stand on it's own unless you get a "base" for it. Manfrotto has a base for it's monopods.
