walau!! i got it from cp @ $140. its heavy at 2.5kg so consider getting a cf tripod if u'll be using it often. day shooters like myself find this enough:thumbsup:

A CF tripod of this size is only very slightly lighter than an aluminium one... so don't waste your money... the difference in weight is only really felt when u are using a those professional super heavy duty types...

great tripod, sturdy and light. was eyeing for it for sometime, been using a friend's Slik 330? (a heavier version, can old 5kg), the DX can hold only 3kg...but good enough for me, and tall enough ('im 1.79).

only vibe is when compared with manfrotto ProBs, this can't have the 'elbow out' 190proB/550proB is sooo popular here... i feel SLIK is sturdier....*shrugs*.
