SlideShow Software

Hi, Can someone recommend a decent slideshow software plz? (one that is able to add effects like add music/text/special effects)

I only have a Nex5N and would like to try to make some slides show with my family pictures.

Have no previous experience but attended a wedding and was very impressed with the slide show so I thought maybe i can try and "make" one with the family photos.

I've googled a few but have no idea which is good.

I have a PC- win XP- 2 gig ram only. Please dont tell me i need to upgrade my old pc :sweat:....Its old i know hahaha but I only use it for email and stuff...well until now :bsmilie:

ProShow Producer is the best i've ever used. too bad for me it's for Windows only, i wish they would make a Mac version.

I am using ProShow it's quite easy to use and alot of features to play with...
my home comp is windows xp also but RAM is 4gb, i think your 2GB is sufficient, can try lah.

What resolution is most commonly used for Wedding hotel projection? 4:3 aspect? 16:9 (DVD). I actually prefer Full HD as it will be great for TV as well.

Use the VGA input and you can have HD 16:9. But if you use the RCA input, its 4:3 by default.

I will stick to 1080p. Whoa, RCA input for projector... I think it is time for upgrade. Hahaa.
