Slide -> Prints

Hi,

Just sent 38 slides to Colour Lab for printing to 4R. Results - excellent. Colour Saturation, contrast, sharpness is good. Obviously, no match for the slide on a slide box, but nevertheless very good. The slides I printed are all Velvia/E100VS by the way.

I have not checked the slides itself yet, but they gave me the impression they handle them pretty well. I sent them in in slide sleeves, and it came back flat, unfolded, in a plastic bag with a cardboard backing (like when you do enlargements). This is unlike Photo Friend who folded(!) my slide sleeves to fit their envelopes.

Prices are $1 per 4R. I'll give the highly recommended Foto Hub a try as well, but getting there before they close can be a problem...

Foto Hub is at OUB Centre, Raffles Place. Opening Hours is 9am to 7pm weekdays. They close early on weekends like most pro labs. Around 3 or 4pm I think.

Foto Hub charges $1.80 per 4R. So their quality BETTER be better. ;p
