Sitex IT fair

Ugh. Why waste money on cards like that? It's just shops using Sitex to clear stock to suckers.

poorman's solution. :sweatsm:
i went SLS instead, it was sold out.

end up got some rams to boost my pc. :bsmilie:

If you are a newbie, its good for you. However if you are already familiar with the basic function and operations of the camera (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, crop factor etc etc...) then you might not gain as much from the course.

Thanks for the advice, i think i will play with the camera and read up more on CS for the next few days and make a list of questions to ask on that day.

1600? Meh. I would not have paid that much for a 550D. But if you like it, go ahead, enjoy your camera.

I aready have said i think it is ok cause 550D with 18-135 and a dry cabinet, which is aready lower than Sitex 1699, and thanks i'm aready enjoying taking pic of my baby without the slow shutter speed and unclear pictures.:bsmilie:

So do u have anything better in mind cause i got a friend whom may also be interested.;);)

For a budget of 1600? Yeah, with tilting LCD for easy shots of the kid, fast autofocus in live view, fast autofocus in video... All for about 1k.

Haha give him a break man, $1600 is quite ok for a 550D kit 2 and everyone has personal preference no?;)

Hi I'm still waiting for the camera that u recommend for <1k. I also notice that most of yr answer are quiet open ended answer. Can I have a straight answer for once.

he's reffering to A33, and some people already knows it without being told what camera model or brand it is just by the description given, and don't worry for the 550D+18-135mm u got quite a good deal so enjoy and shoot more ;)

@rashkae: give a guy a break la, every people hve his/her own preferences brand what no matter how expensive or less feature it is from the other brand :bsmilie:
but tell u the truth even i won't be getting either A33 or A55 as my main gun, just for a simple reason as no top LCD + very2 small grip and too light to my likings + the last but important piece i don't like EVIL :bsmilie: but i wouldn't mind getting it to be my video cam though :D

Yup, everyone has their own taste and preferences, that's totally correct and fair. I just feel bad when people blindly buy without researching (and yes, that's regardless of what camera they bought in the first place).

Strange I thought SITEX selling 550D for 1300 with 50mm lens,18-55mm,75-300mm lens ?

Think read that in other threads and one of my friend told me he got it at that price too. Comes with the standard freebies, no Dry Cabinet, but dry box instead and a heavy tripod which he cannot tell me what brand. I thought 1.3k with the PWP and the lens is quite a good steal for beginners interested in Canon heh.

But no puns intended , just sharing what I know about Sitex 550D deal :)

i got steinzeiser 4 section tripod yesterday at sitex when i sealed the deal

If you know the real street prices and have a sharp eye, you might be able to spot some good deals.

The Samsung EX1 went for $499 at the previous IT fair and it's about ~$550 at the usual shops that members here would recommend now. Of course, if you're not looking to buy the camera, the offer wouldn't mean a thing.

Ya..i got my EX1 during that last fair...for once...I never thought I will be buying from the fair other than usual shops except for this deal...:)

haha nvm la 1300 with 3 lens not bad liao or maybe good le

anything la lol

If one lens is the 75-300 ... only 2 lenses.. condolences.

lol :p that's mean(though so true in many way :bsmilie:), later realise the quality also can sell for 150-250 what at BnS to innocent newb, can use the C brand as a selling point ma :bsmilie:
