Sitex 2011 - Singapore.

:vhappy: See Ur guys there tomorrow!!! :D

Like camera gears... go and look around first and prior to the show, list down the prices of the desktop you want to buy. Then go to Sitex and see if it is any cheaper... or download the boucher from the net, check to see what freebies they are giving, then go down to funan on the same day of the sales and went straight to the shops selling PC and ask for prices.

You might be surprise that whatever these shops gives and the price might be the same as what was offered from Sitex, and you get to get out of the crowd... so it is more of a comfy shopping. But you don't get to see showgirls and nice models though.

quite agree with you!

Was told that this $15 umbrella offer is not Wescott but some brandless model :(
Please take note.

Any information on Panasonic Lumix camera deals/prices at Sitex to share?

Also... memory cards. haha

hello guys! Are there any exceptional deal for DSLR at expo this time around? It's extremely far from where I stay (jurong east) so I wanna make sure I know first.

i tot i saw one some where... just google for it.. but do expect the price to be much much higher... 512GB is in the region of 1k +++ maybe... but i saw the adver promise 10 yrs of memory retention... just cant recall the brand..

Is there such a thing as a external SSD ? Somehow, i dont trust my ext HDD where all my pics are back-up.

why better not... i like to get my stuff from trade shows... easier.. dont need to go hunting around.. all stuff in one place.. so easy... in business, they need to make money to survive.. i just let them make... but in the end, i get what i need easier as i dont need to spent time hunting around...

If you mean camera products, better not

but asus stuff is really neat.. think worth the price... toshiba is not that neat/premium (personal opinion)... but cost much more i think...

New Asus Zenbook UX31 (i7 version) so expensive ya? What will be the i5 then?

OCZ enyo. theres one by Iomega, and another by G-technology. Or just use an adapter from any SSD to USB.

Just sharing, yesterday I went there to check some Vanguard bags. With their 20%-30% discount (from the price on the brochure / bootstrike), the price is more or less the same with what the shops at Funan offer.

If you read the other threads about sitex offers you will know why. The show booths are opened by the shops anyway, like MS color or Cathay. If you want to give them business why not go to the shop? Save yourself the hassle of squeezing through the crowd and get a better deal at the same time.
