Sirui Genie Sling Strap is made especially for smaller camera systems such as micro 4/3, NEX and Nikon 1 series.

The slim, affordable yet essential design makes this strap perfect for any cameras or micro systems that weights under 1kg.

The quick detach loop can be mounted on the side of the camera attachment point, leaving the tripod socket free. This method of attachment allows a quick release plate to be mounted at the bottom of the camera, which in turn allows the camera to be mounted on a tripod without hassle.

can this sling be used with a DSLR? Or do they have a stronger version for DSLR? I'm looking for this kind of quick detachment loop where the tripod screw will not be used up.

Hi,
I am sorry we do not have a stronger version for DSLR.
Sling can be used in fact for any camera with a lug but it may not be secure for camera heavier than 1kg.
If you setup is light you may consider using the sling.

May I know how to use the velcro strap? Hehe! Instruction not very clear

The velcro is meant to just secure the loose end after adjustments if it is too long.
It does not contribute to any weight bearing on the strap.
If you are not sure of anything on the strap just bring down to our shop and we will be glad to explain it to you.
