Singnet user fall in, WHY is clubsnap so LAG?

hmm i sometimes lose signal in some parts of sg with my singtel no. and everytime on the mrt from redhill to tiong bahru, i will lose internet connectivity on that particular track without fail haha weird

that's due to a glitch with radio waves. there are dead spots, though i can't remember what causes it. but it might be due to geography or some weird weather patterns around the area...

or the supernatural :bsmilie:

ok singnet sucks big time. my internet speed is very unstable, with a 25% data loss rate.

thats not a good sign.

me thinks imma jump to starhub if this carries on.

you only sent 4 packets, 1 is 25%. If you want a packet loss measure, Ping is not the method. IT is only good to establish if the destination server can be reached.
but >600ms is not acceptable. Either Google is under DDOS attack, or your ISP's IX direct link is down, and routed you through the Atlantic path instead. See the papers if any major earthquake happened in the Pacific.

To the TS, a slow response only on CS could mean a few things. But the highest on the list of suspect is probably CS server is over subscribed (bandwidth wise). when this happens again, try checking how many users are online (CS main page shows that). CS's server is also probably not web accelerated.

I am StarHub user, I too encounter slow response from CS every now and then. I would just leave it and do my surfing or upload another time.

I'm a Singnet user.
Pass 1 mth, been noticing that ClubSnap website on/off abit slow.
Never happen before... sometime can take even up to 15sec to load.
No issue with any other website. My connection always been pretty stable.
