Any images? So what condo now sits on the site?

No images lah, the old place already torn down. Wish I have some pictures of the school too. Not sure if the condo's name can be mentioned. Anyway, will PM you. ;)

Actually, to see these things, you have to be really 'suay'.

Just to share an incident which my aunty experienced. My aunty lives in Commonwealth and there was once, she was preparing dinner in the early evening, the sun has yet to set then (The kitchen of her block faces the kitchen of the block opposite hers) she looked out of the window and saw a lady walking into a wall. She was shocked and it has been disturbing her. She dare not looked out of the window after that incident and she has moved to another unit within the same vacinity thereafter.

Actually u dun really need to be suay to see these things. In actual fact these "spirit people" usually present themselves as a form of energy, entity, apparition or orb. And you know how when at times u suddenly pick up ur phone expecting a call to come through and it does? You can train urself to be attuned to be able to pick up these energies when they are near by.

Being quite sensitive to these things, its pretty common to actually bump into them. During my poly days in Ngee Ann poly, just about most of the blocks i've been in for classes, I've had strange encounters. One such was in the TV studio and lift landing at the Film and Media studies block. A presence was felt in the studio just before we vacated the place at about 11+pm. Being the last 2 people to leave the studio, my gf and i felt sth following us from the studio to the lift landing. Then in the reflection of the window next to the life, both of us saw a white figure move. Being a little spooked we stepped quickly into the lift as the doors opened.

while in the lift to the ground floor from the 9th. We continuously felt uneasy like someone was standing behind us. When the lift door opened. we heard footsteps walk out of the lift. AND it wasnt ours. we were the only 2 people in the lift. My gf scooted off in front of me. Being a little gunho myself:bsmilie: i wanted to see where the footsetps were coming from. So i went to peek behind the door of the left side exit to the lift landing. No one. as i turned back. i felt a breath on my left ear and heard a very low and distant wail. it wasnt human. was just very echo like, near and distant right next to my left ear. my legs went soft. i ran. Past my gf who immediately ran too. :bsmilie: What an experience.

You saw the shadow of a man running carrying a white box? :bsmilie:

Actually when i had lessons there, was in the darkroom alone on the 8th floor doing photo enlargement (around 7pm), they kept this white round tub right in the corner out of view.

It was colour enlargement, so complete darkness, besides the illumination from the airconditioning blip lights. It happened so fast, had goosebumps and all. From corner of the eye i saw somewhat like an old lady squatting on the ledge where the white tub was (which was out of view, when im in the middle of the room), i turned, and the offending white blur vanished.

Quickly i packed up, turn on the lights, checked the corner where i saw the white blur, it was then that i found out a white tub was kept in the corner, switched off everything, locked up and left. Sheesh. hahaha

There were other occurence and stories in the same building but those aren't my experiences. Heh

anyone knows what is the army camp facing directly opposite CCK cemeteries ?

there was a malay fren who was on guard duty one night, sentry standing at the pillbox overlooking the place of chinese cemeteries. At some hour at night, he saw this man dressed in a long black robe, wearing a tall squarish hat, fanning himself and was smoking.. this man was sitting on a tombstone, relaxing... and then disappear.

that camp is Lim Chu Kang Camp II la...not tengah.. after that camp then is 5 SIB which is the next bustop then another bustop later is 4SIR which is full of fertilizer smell due to the plantation in front of 4SIR gate..

TB Hill was a burial ground... if u look carefully into the forest.. u can spot some tombstones being abandoned.

is it, need to go there look see look see liao...anyway which part? that time my friend saw it fly pass behind me that spot is at the toilet there.

Two more to note,North and South Buona Vista...North Buana Vista opposite Blk 17 Holland and the whole stretch of South Buona Vista...those long bendy road especially near the 2 white stone barriers...try passing this roads at nite especially on Thursday nites...after midnite...i was informed by my old police colleagues that a white lady likes to roam somewhere near Blk 17 Holland opposite North Buona Vista...and some also witness tombstone flying across the road of South Buona Vista near those white stone barrier...and many accidents happened along these 2 roads:think:

I would say that most schools, army/police/CD camps and hospitals will have spirits around. I have even heard of personal encounters in Chinatown area, but anyway, they are everywhere. Of course the most haunted place would be the Cemeteries. :bsmilie:

I thought the spirit would stay near where the person died and not where he or she was buried. If that is the case, we shouldn't find spirits in cemeteries although the places could be creepy. In the end, it is the thought in your mind that could be playing a trick on you. I am neither a believer or non-believer but until I actually see ghost myself, I will just keep an open mind.

U stay there is it? LoL...if not why wanna go there?

35SCE still ok.... until u head down to the training area at the beach there.

Anyway, I was at Seletar Camp (other units located way in), I'd experienced where my camp's dog suddenly ran out from the guardroom and barked at the empty gate furiously. When I scolded the dog, a strong gust of wind blew and rustled all the leaves until I stopped scolding the dog, apologised and prayed around. Den it stopped in an instant.

There's another occasion when I just reached camp for weekend duty when my colleague asked me, "Eh? I thought u came much earlier?" I said, "Hey, I juz came only."

Later he told me that he saw me walking around, as usual, in singlet, berms and slippers around, shuffling my feet as usual and walked around to the back where 'I' simply disappeared and he did not see 'me' until he saw the real me.

There's one time when all my colleagues ran out for supper and I was alone at camp when I heard someone calling my Chinese name at the outside of the gate. Went out and saw nobody. When I heard the same voice calling my Chinese name (none of my colleagues knew what my Chinese name was) again at night when I was sleeping, I saw... a dark shadow at the gate moving around.

There's one more time when I was resting when I woke up suddenly, heard that there are lotsa ppl moving around and chatting outside the guardroom, I went outside and the moment I opened the bedroom door.... NO MORE VOICES! When I closed the bedroom door, the voices gradually came back. Later I told my Mum abt this and she asked me what language did I hear, I said, its like a mix. Sounds like Hokkien, Teochew, Hakka, English, Japanese and a whole host of mixed but familiar languages. She says its 'those things'.

And the final one, which is the saddest, occurred right before I ORDed.

My camp dog had to be sent away for some reasons. When I was sleeping that night, I suddenly smelt a dog smell, very familiar... and felt a warm and slightly damp licks on my hand. The smell slowly faded away, bit by bit......

The next day, a new shift of RP guards came to takeover duty and tried to find the dog, I told them don't bother. The dog is gone.... for good.

the place was a ex-British naval base with a military hospital. If u dun believe, u observe the way the rooms are buit, it fits 2 patients to a room, 3 storey high, the old lamposts, the metal hangers, the storehouses and the slipways to the sea all tells u it was British ! do u know ? the names of the roads inside are found in London.

Someone mentioned Chinatown...

heard of stories about the station's night shift staff seeing "stuff" along the platforms from the cctv in control station. I wonder if other stations underground also encounter such situations.

I wonder if the night shift staff would be afraid to go do a patrol check? Since it might be some homeless folk who manage to hide and trying spend the night in the station. They might just live and let live. Heh

Lim Chu Kang camp, its just beside Tengah Airbase facing the cemeteries. Home of 4 SIR if i'm not wrong.

Talking about that cemetery, my friend heard a man asking him to 'go away'. It was a night exercise during NSF days and we're still trainees. He was tired and shacked out, cannot or din think and sat on a tombstone to rest. He mistook it as a curb. Then he heard it, asking him to go away and another friend heard it too and haul him up to his feet. The next day, the instructors told us that they heard the voice too.

Stagmont Camp.....the dirtiest camp I've been.

This happened during the same period. We're still trainees and it was after a very siong exercise and we have to maintain some cables. I asked my friend to go back to our bunk located at 5th floor to get some wire cutters. The next day, he told me he heard a child crying in our bunk! The accomodation block is very creepy and old. The 6th floor is offically off limits to everyone. Said to be haunted and it was boarded up. Cannot access but can see whats inside. And I tell u, u dun wanna see what is in there. The sight will send shivers down your spine.

My experience:
Same camp, same period, still trainees.....during Millianium period, so there are 2 sets of prowlers......

It was during guard duty........and like most, my mate and me like to 'rest' during guard duty. :bsmilie: We prowl to the lecture block and rested there. We settled down outside 1 of the 2nd floor classrooms....just along the corridor. It was way past midnight and it was very quiet. The block was a little eerie but there was still lights from the street lamp, so still can see.......

After about 10 mins of resting, WE heard footsteps walking towards us. It was distinctive and it sounded like boots...... walking nearer and nearer.... Man I was stunned! My first thought was, 'Siao liao! DO/BOS lai liao!' I asked my mate if he heard it and he said YES! So I asked him to 'stick' his head out and see/peep. He told me he saw nothing and there isn't anymore footsteps. So I thought ok maybe WE'RE hearing things. So we continue with our rest......

Mintues later WE heard it again! Very clear foot/boot steps coming nearer and nearer.....getting louder and louder. My friend stick his head out and see again and again, he said he saw nothing! Then I stick out me head to see........Blood hell I saw nothing! And whatever it was, it was getting nearer and nearer, closer and closer, louder and louder......walking towards US! Man! Blood froze and drained from our faces. I told me mate, its not correct, something is very wrong, lets go! We grabbed our rifles and ran.....really ran out of the block.

We ran like we never ran before and only stop when we reach the road. It was a creepy and eerie night. We continued prowling.....and dogs are howling. We arrived at the bottom of the slope and those familar with Stagmont camp will know.....it will lead us to 2 Sig Bn.....so naturally, I looked ahead. Then I saw at the top of the slope, 2 jockey caps.....because of the incline, I can only see the 2 jockey caps hopping towards the medical center. I must be seeing things, so I asked my friend to see......he stared, saw no jockey caps but saw a figure standing by a car. Boy it was really an eventfull night. I thought I saw the other set of prowler. When we arrived at the top of the slope, we saw the other 2 prowlers just coming from the opposit direction. So I asked them if they just arrived or they did walked towards the medical center. They told me that they just arrived. What did i see?

Till today, I still have no idea what I saw or was I imagining things. But one thing is for sure, my friend and I heard the foot/boot steps. The story did not end with me, the other set of prowler heards things as well but it will be another story. It was really an eventfull night.

Not only Chinatown. Bishan has a lot of stories also. Heard this before:

This was just a hearsay, how true, i'm not sure cos I dun stay there and I hardly go to the North. When the MRT was first launched and travelling along the North South line, some people travelling in it late at night saw that passengers who boarded the train at Bishan actually remove their heads and put them on the empty seat beside them. Creepy isn't it? Imagine you're in teh train with 'them' and there's no where to run. God Bless You.

:bsmilie:

Another encountered by a distant relative or my mum's childhood neighbour (I can't really remember). She was making a turn (walking) at the current Hotel 81 opposite Chinatown Point when she saw a man covered in blood walked past her, she continued her way and pondered why is it that no one actually see what happened to the man when he is covered in blood. When she turned to look at the man again, he was gone and that sends a chill down her spine and she hurried to her destination.
