If u are the pilot of a passanger plane, and suddenly got 2 fighter jets flying next to u and signal u, I bet u will follow whatever they ask u to do :sweat:just wondering out loud how does the two jets force the 'intruder' plane into a certain course of action?
I hope we send a bill to whom the plane belongs to.
The single-engine turboprop Cessna 208 "was heading towards Singapore airspace," said the ministry's statement. The plane was escorted to Changi Airport.

Hmmm. If it was heading "towards" Singapore airspace, it did NOT violate Singapore airspace. Which would mean it got intercepted either in foreign airspace (!), or in international airspace (which would be akin to piracy). I can only hope this report is not true.

the bill consist of fuel surcharge, plane maintenance fee, pilot flight allowance and GST ! :sweatsm: sorry loh ! who ask u fly into Singapore.. lucky never land on expressway else must charge ERP also. :bsmilie:
yeah i bet those guys on the ground with the AA and the pilots are itching to take a shot with their live rounds....
Lets see who are the pilots and passangers on that flight, could be Thai royal members, military chiefs or rich businessmen.
...aerodymanicly not stable, its the computer inside that keep it flying, cause an unstable plane is easier to turn in a dogfight.
Ermm......you heard of radio? And threats to shoot down the plane if he continues.
This is what US and other nation's pilots do. Damn! Watch too much Discovery. :bsmilie: Well Russian pilots actually shot down a Korean Air 747 back in the 80s after giving verbal warning and firing warning shots.
What on earth are you writing? What is aerodymanicly? And is an unstable plane really easier to turn in a dogfight? I see no logic. An unstable car is easier to turn - in one particular direction, but not both. I believe a combat aircraft should be stable and balanced such that it can maneuver whichever way it pleases.
I stand to be corrected.

it was KAL 007, a SU-15 Flagon who fired some canons, 2 air to air missiles into it, plane went down into sea of Japan, one of the passenger was a US congressman. The incident nearly provoke a nuclear war between Soviet and USA.
Yes, modern fighters are designed to be aerodynamicly unstable. The plane is constantly wanting to bank, turn, spin etc. This makes the plane more maneuvable and agile but unflyable by human pilots. So the plane is flown by computers and the pilot flies the mission. From F16 onwards, most planes are designed this way. The Stealth B2 bomber is also unstable as a flying wing without the tail fin.
