damn nice bro, I like how you could get so close in with the action. the drone shots are damn cool as well.

Love the aerials! Gteat music, creatively edited. Given that it's a real tournament in progress, You managed to capture wide a variety of angles. Would have loved see more steadicam shots and gopro angles in the field. May be a gopro gimbal? Looks like the FZ1000 came in handy for this one? Pacing wise, you can make it shorter and increase the pace of edit for even greater impact.
Overall, an enjoyable piece and slickly put together!

2 words -- damn good! =)

Naise  My fav shot was the one of the player emerging into frame (1:30), kinda unexpected.

Suggestion: Can consider some POV shots (gopro or action cam) to help bring the viewer right in the midst of the action? E.g., Gun mounted facing in or out, mask mounted facing out. Are the competitors allowed to wear cameras though? I imagine some of them would want to record their own plays, but perhaps not allowed to due to potential safety issues?

What I really wanna know now is have you (or your equipment) ever been hit by stray bullets ;p

Deunamist>>> Thank you sir. After browsing your FB page, I saw couple of your works. I am inspired to do a documentary on paintball.

BambooPictures>>> Nah, I did not use FZ200. But your suggestion GoPro on a Gimbal, I am going to try that the next one. Steadicam shots, most were too jerky because I was shot with paintballs. So my body reacts. Hahahahha. Managed to salvage a few good ones. Yes Boss, I will use your pointers.

Kandinsky>>>
- Wanted to do the POV style but not allowed in tournament as per the rules. More of media and logistics control.
- And yes, for 3 years, my camera body have been shot so many times. Sames goes with my lens. Canon DSLR body is solid. Same goes with the lens. What I always do is, once I reach home, I will clean my gears. Blow dry. And put it covered with rice grains in a sealed tupperware box for at least 2 days.
- And yes, I get shot. I will get shot even more if I capture their line of fire. Just have to bear the pain. So what I do is, I place my camera along the line of fire. Fix the composition.(Example like the one you mentioned.) I move to a lesser hit prone area. My heart pain every time my camera got shot with the "tink tink tink tink tink" sounds.

Pettypoh>>> Thank you Bro.

Thank you for sparing me some time out of your busy schedule to watch and provide some comments and suggestions. Without them, I don't think I am able to improve so much for the past 3 years in my video making journey.

Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing man. Wah, both gear and your own body get shot in the line of duty... both also pain :bsmilie: I suppose you must have a passion for paintball as well! Do you use any kind of camera protection (waterproof case/bag?) at all or just bare body + lens?? Wouldn't the paint be hard to wipe off if it gets in the grooves, etc. I suppose at the very minimum a clear UV filter on the lens.

kandinsky>>> Used to be shot all the time when I was playing competitively until I injured my knee. But, still pain. As for protection, I use the army towel or thick towel. That's it. The paint is easily wiped off because it doesn't dry up easily. Yes, I used UV filter on the lens.
