I'm in awe after going through your thread.
I just tried shooting at night for the first time at marina barrage and my images are soft and not sharp. Any clues as in why? Shooting generally at iso 200, f8-10, 25-30s... tripod and timer for shutter. af wide point focus. using d90 and tamron 17-50 with vc off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What metering and focus point u use.,I use manual focus somtime..,Can you show me the pic?

I like this... with the 2 roads converging towards the flyer, it's like a xmas tree, the flyer being the star on top of the tree.
