when will be the best time of the day to go? i presume there may be some other special shows?

afternoon better, got Toyota show...:D

Maybe conditions back then were much better:) , back straight connnects to a 90 degree left woh......wonder which race car can do 200kph on that bend;p ....jus curious:bigeyes:
I am referring to the uphill straight behind the paddock area and don't think they have changed this part of the track. Next time you get to watch the races in Johore Circuit, listen to the engine rev sounds and then watch when the brake lights come on - they ALL negotiate through this left hander in 5th gear, but just prior to the next left hander after, they brake real hard and drop to 3rd. Take note of the contour of the terrain. Observe that it is uphill till after the apex of the bend i.e. the bend behaves like part of a banked track. Turning the car into the bend, the centrifugal force acts a little downwards against rather than straight outwards across the banked road surface. So there - it's just a matter of knowing and taking advantage of the way the track is built. ;)

Down Sepang's main straight in a 220HP manual road car (not to mention brand and model), you will be damn good if you can hit 200km/h before hitting the brakes.... 200km/h in a bend at Pasir Gudang???? Unless of course you are in a Ferrari or something
In acceleration, you have to consider a) the weight-power ratio b) the power band c) traction and d) the starting speed. A 3 tonner with 300 hp isn't going to accelerate very quickly.:bsmilie:

fortunately, the show need to pay, otherwise it will become another people show. Saturday go go go.......

THe Mucielago LP 640 hits 240kmh on Sepang main, driver brings it down to 80kmh before T1 and this is on a F1 certifed Track. Hehehe........jus cant imagine carrying 200kmh into a corner and living to tell:)

......EuroR should clear 200kph mah, not sure abt corners though;)

Wah, how u know I am talking about EuroR.....

Spot on..... I think just below 200km/h before hitting brakes..... F1 car about 300km/h..... btw, 200km/h through a bend is no joke man, if you have gone past 200km/h on a road before, you will know what I mean, and through a bend on a road car can be suicidal. And all the straights at Pasir Gudang are so short...

Ya I know, but to go through any corner in Pasir Gudang at 200km/h.... your skills are   no matter what car u drive wor

Run light??:bsmilie:

Bad composition / choice of angle to shoot the model.

It is even worse when you think she "run light" and you still post the picture here. Shame on you.

no dun haf.
it's the singapore motor show. not internation motor show. If you don't want to spend any $$, go to the suntec carpark, you will roughly see similar cars.. In fact I think you'll see alot more varieties of cars.

haha... even msia motorshow got those supercars...slr mclaren, enzo, carrera gt.;p
why spore motorshow so lousy

:embrass: Actually, I can only do it at that bend (It's not a corner). It's just a matter of resisting the natural tendency to lift off on the accelerator, practice and more practice.

A lot depends on your exit speed from the previous bend(s) and being able to "keep the engine on the boil". Most important, do not allow the revs to drop too much and out of the power band or leave the car too long in neutral gear when upshifting. Get it right and you can do it, even in some street cars.
