Singapore Motor Show 2006 at Suntec City from 10 Nov 06 till 19 Nov 06

Just went to the opening trade day (12:05pm) and the show was not that impressive esp. for those whose camera eye is targetted towards the car-models. Not all the brands had models and those that catered for "eye-candy" didn't take the trouble in their selection process. However, check out the ALFA booth for the best takes...

idmk2 @ 8.5 fps, each photo is ard 8Mb. wanna try? its 39.2 sec only

Those models are not full time and can expect them to work during weekends.
 

just returned from there.

those looking for exotic cars... forget it. they brought back the 04 lambos. the ferraris were essentially souped up road cards. toyota showed their turquoise concept car. the rest are run-of-the-mill road cars.

those looking for models... save u the hunt. kanny and her 'assets' are on display at toyota. subaru has, IMO, the best looking models. the lexus model for their latest luxury car has attracted even an interview with AsiaOne. the rest of the makers are using the same local faces. :bsmilie:

meantime... i gotta return to my PP of my car pics. yes. car pics. ;p
 

Judging from past shows, the models are not so nice so I think you should not bear too much hope. Even those who look nicer may not be able to pose naturally anyway (I suspect most are not true pros but student freelancers so you know lah)

bring along portable studio lighting lah...Make sure you double check yr gears. Batteried charged, CF cards cleared? lens cleaned? and most important make sure you bring the $10 admision fees. else bring everything go there cannot go in...haha

Keep images of chiobus (if have lar) in the brain ;p. Can do "in brain processing" too ;p

Haha the 10$ ;p ... Keep a few 10$ in the wallet in case wanna visit another time on another day. No need to go withdraw again ...
 

do we call these car models "race queens" ? :) does race queens only refer to Formula One style events ?

i'm worried on the relibility of the storage than the size of the storage. However if the "lens" is crap, whatever zillion bytes of memory you have is useless.cos not a single photo cn make it.
