Anyone knows if they'll allow pedestrians up Benjamin Shears Bridge during the fireworks? And will the traffic on the bridge cause too much vibration for long exposures?

I don't think it is advisable to go up to Shears Bridge. If police chase you away at that very minute, I don't think you will have enough time to find another place.

Hi Guys,

any place to recommend to take the fireworks, with a relatively unblocked view??
I went to the esplanade before but I think that is a bit too near to the firing place so you can't take the a wide view.

Hmm... maybe I'll try my luck. Not say die die must get the photos or see the fireworks anyway. I just thought that the view will be good from there.

So, what's the conclusion? Tripod and Camera can? The ticket says no photography leh.

i suppose tt's just a general regulation they imposed on a generic basis. it wouldn't make sense that audiences on the floating bay will be prohibited from photography while bystanders have every right to do so, yeah?

I got the tickets. Can bros advise me on the settings that i should set from the seats distance? Aperture, shutter speed, iso? I'm not going to try the blackcard method. So i guess no bulb mode for me? I got tripod and wireless remote. using D70 with 18-55 kit lens. Thanks in advance!

i dont think the esplanade roof top will be opened.

and the bridge maybe too crowded with pple....danger of knocking into tripod.
