Singapore Cityscape Time Lapse

Maybe instead of just pointing out my mistakes, tell me how can it be improve? And how can i link from one scene to another? The timing i understand, thats the reason why i re-edit it. Hmm, when the sky turns dark, and the screen blacks out, its because of the tempo change in the music. Thanks

agree with phototime

the result of individual scene is good, so the next thing to improve on would be to link up the scenes to make the whole film into a more "meaningful" clip such as this Singapore Awakens on Vimeo

a few of the instances of tying up the scenes would be time of day (via the increase or decrease in sunlight). also, some of the "faster action" time lapse (such as the moving cars in bokeh or moving people) should purposely slot into the "more intense" parts of the music, or also do intermittent change-overs for more dramatic effect

in any case, still have to compliment you on the individual time lapse scenes as they are done very nicely

hope to see more from you

When you watch movie or serial, they don't change the location suddenly. E.g. now at location A, and at the next instance, it is at location B. They always shot the outside first, and then next cut into the story again (Observe the Taiwan serial). Similarly, you can apply same format, shot at a larger scale, then zoom in, and zoom in again, so that there is some linkage between the scene.

I am not good at taking video, just that I have attended a basic video course before, and have some basic knowledge. Please take up some video taking courses so that you can have better knowledge on composing a video taking and apply them onto time-lapse video.
