beautiful and sharp night shots for a first timer! The first one looks like it's cropped, maybe can shoot at a wider angle or move back slightly..

vey nice and beautifully done!!! good job... hope to see more of your work...

I like your Esplanade/Singapore Flyer shot. Leading line and rule of thirds. Perfect example of photography textbook.

nice shots for a newbie :) though i think photo #4 is a bit empty on top ;p

I personally like the current framing of the first pic, with the wall of water spanning both sides, leading the viewer into the centre of the pic. The effect will be lost if the angle is too wide.. but beauty lies in the eye of the beholder i guess :)

hey bro... veri nice pic indeed for a newbie.. myself is also quite new to DSLR, could u tell me more how u manage to take such a nice pic.

Like BlissfulReminiscence has asked you, wat settings did u put in order to capture such wonderful pics?? I assume u are using a wide angle lens??

#4

Hi,
Thank for sharing... great job..nice photo.
Just a litter bit comment on your photo above. if you can move your angle show more sea water view than sky would be more better. Sky look empty but sea water produce nice flare color from the lighting... I'm also new..just share my opinion.. correct me if i'm wrong.. :)

haaizzzz.... looking at this pictures going to make me rush out to buy a tripod liao.

GREAT SHOTS

hmm. last photo, might wanna place horizon lower a bit. me thinks the water reflection of the lights will be nicer than the blank night sky

Yup, agree with your comments. Raising the horizon will be nicer as you will be able to see the reflections of the buildings' light in the water.

Yup, agree with your comments. There were few boats going around that time, so I was forced to get more sky than the water.
