1st trade day display 12.30pm due to the show start at 12noon.
Rest of the day 10.25am as show start 9.30am. Do go early in case jam.

This time round the display as brought early 1hr to 10.25am-11.25am as
heavy commercial air-traffic during noon time as previous show display
start around 11.30am to 12.30pm...

Thanks guys for all the useful info. This is my first time going to the air show hence has lots of questions:
1)if i buy tickets for sat or sun, can I actually get to see and shoot the fly past - concern is the crowd and the flat exhibition area. No point just taking pics of the static planes and the huge crowd right?
2) if I go to the ferry terminal would it be very crowded by say 10 am? In fact can I actually drive there wonder there are road blocks? Any other good sites to take the flying displays/
3) Understand all the long zoom are out of stock from camera rental shop at new bridge road right? My longest is only 70-200mm, any use to shoot the fly past?

cks2k2,

Can share where did you get the info on Sat & Sun time-table?

Is it true, each day the number of participants are reducing?

I have changed my 1/2 day leave to 13th Feb'14
I have called SBS. They told me that member of public can take the bus and alight from Changi Cargo Complex.
The bus service no are 9,19, 89.

I think 2 of them from Tampines Interchange & one from Pasir Ris.

Thank You
EisMann

1. yes, obviously.
3. longest lens i have is 70-200 on crop as well. i shot from the exhibition area and had to crop quite a bit.

copy-paste from airshow website.
http://www.singaporeairshow.com/aerobatic-flying-display-public.aspx

only the indonesian team is not flying on sunday, with the usaf f16 replacing the c-17 on sunday.

The ROKAF Black Eagles is the highlight. They make a heart with arrow darting through and yin yang. You need at least a 400mm and longer for close-up. Else you can shoot formation, smoke trail or the occasion shots as they flew by.

The stretch of beach near Changi Ferry Terminal can catch the action if one does not want to pay to enter into the airshow.
