For all those who were waiting to see the static display... Sorry for the high compression, had to get it below 100kb so that I can upload it onto the gallery...:dunno:

NSRCC is too far already.

Car Park 7 at Changi Ferry Terminal is the nearest but Changi Coast Road could be very congested during the show. (see map link below)

Cark Park 6 along Changi Coast Road is further up north but should be able to see.

I have a 2 tickets for 24th Feb to let go, bought it for my brother but he couldn't make it. I am selling it at the purchased price (S$7 each) so do PM me if interested. Self-collect at Simei MRT.

thanks clockunder, may go there tomorrow morning, friday, buy breakfast and sit by the beach with the kids, thanks again

Is there any public transport going to Changi Coast Road and can alight at Changi Ferry Terminal.
I am thinking of taking bus there.

thanks for the static map.
Usual bus service along Nicoll Drive are 9, 19 and 89 but not sure any disruption during this period or not. Can see the Aerial display from CP5?

Are we allow to bring our own drinking water in?

Want to double check.

I bought a family package on line and e-ticket (for 4) and e-voucher for car park label have been emailed to me.

And i hv traded in e-voucher for car park label.

And i m to keep e-ticket to present it on arrival @ S'pore Airshow for admission?

Just to make sure, else we won't be admitted.. making waste round trip.

Thanx.

Phil.

TRADE DAYS: 19 - 22 Feb 2008 (Tue - Fri)
Admission is complimentary for guests with valid Singapore Airshow 2008 Trade Invitation. For guests without a trade invitation, admission will be charged at S$50 for a 1-day pass and S$150 for a 4-day pass. Trade tickets are available for purchase on-site at the registration gateway or online at www.singaporeairshow.com.sg
Has anyone purchased the $50 tradeshow ticket? Can't find it in the airshow website. Tempted to take leave tomorrow and avoid the crowd during the weekend. (And yes, I think the $50 is worth it to avoid the crowd.)

Oh, and I'm not related to the aerospace trade in any way... wonder whether they will even sell the trade tickets to non-related people.

Hey folks, I was at car park 6 yesterday to watch the flying display. Definitely able to see the planes flying, but I recommend you walk further down (nearer to Changi Ferry Terminal) to get better angle.

The planes will fly very near there as they turn towards the exhibition area, so you can get good close-ups. Problem is the trees block some of the view. It was high-tide during the flying time, so I couldn't stand on the beach to take photos.

Oh yeah, car park 6 is very small. During weekend should be hard to find lots. Hope this helps!

If you're intending to go for the trade show, don't bother already. Thursday's the cut off day, tomorrow they'll be starting to pack up for the public display, some stuff will disappear. However, the beneficial point is a lack of crowd and a very huge area to walkabout. Bring your own food and drinks, it's allowed. Long lenses allowed as well, as long as you display your pass prominently, no one will harass you. As for the $50 parking, I wasn't able to get it during trade days due reserved for VVVIP.

sure anot.. i wait for all of my colleagues to go on friday, now all cannot go.. and then e static display's gona be reduced?

I'm quoting from a friend in the aviation sector. Was one of the events organiser there. You can still go, it's still a bonus as there's a HUGE lack of people presence.

I just bought a ticket today, going down on Sunday. :D
