Hi,
Anyone have an idea about the focal length restriction for this year? I understand that last year it was restricted to 300mm but looking at this year's FAQ.PDF it says the racing organizer can restrict whatever camera you can bring in.

cars racing down the track? you want somewhere of lower speed and difficult to manuveure or long stretch of road for them to hit top speed?
Preferably soemwhere of lower speed so i can capture the cars more easily. Not tat good in skills yet.
for the last 2 years I went, they never checked what lenses I brought.
Thanks! I asked on Facebook about it and they said they disallow tripods/monopods. :dunno:
I understand the tripod but the monopod? Lighting would be awful so why restrict the mono?
Last year I went in with monopod. No one stop me. Not sure about this year. Anyway, I will still bring my monopod.
They said no monopods in grandstands. Did you bring it into the grandstand?
Try turn 17/18. The one before helix bridge, also known as bay zone area.
Just asking you guys..
I have an Oly 70-300mm lens then on my body will be 140-600mm.
This focal length still allowed?? :dunno:
Thanks!![]()
