I agree. Sigma definitely have some winners in their lens line-up. Personally used the 30mm, 50mm and 70-200mm OS before and I felt that they are very good. Especially the 50mm. Some of my friends are raving about the 85mm as well.

Used 30mm & 85mm in the past. Both are delicious

Curious to see it's performance focusing on longer distance, say 10-15m - or probably infinity - from the subject - does the AF works well on such distances?

Did i miss out anything.? prime 351.4 is slower compare to zoom 17-40? thats a total let down izzit it?

Just gotten the sigma 35mm.
Solid lens. Love the build. Focus speed is good and accurate. Images taken are sharp!
Didn't need to send this lens for calibration as I did for sigma 50mm.

Why should it matter? As you said yourself the camera doesn't have a profile for the lens. Anyway, it would affect JPEG only.
