Haha, probably you'll be disappointed coz my location is in Borneo Island (sounds so primitive). Anyway the price here is always ever higher than any shop you can get in Singapore or west Msia

I called up a few shops for follow up and they promised to quote the price but seems like they not yet found the supplier.. and have to wait for a couple of days again. You see.. you see.. :dunno:

IMHO it is really a good lens if there is plenty of light, do remember to use tripod/monopod for macro, few samples from me:

S$ 330... Lucky it's a fasting month now coz at least there are someone out accompany me doing my fasting (due to over potent of 'poison' contributed by our fellow friends here)

Glad that you like my samples, this is really a good value lens with 3 SLD elements, much better than Nikon couterpart. Focusing a bit noisy actually but to me is ok lah...enjoy ur new lens and shoot more.

DeWei, do you mind specify down you 70-300 model? Got so many model here (Dg, non Dg, etc) and now a bit confused. Then plus the heavy haze, can't see clearly ;p

I'm using the latest one, with red ring, APO DG Macro, get this version if you can, it has better coating than previous model.

I think the older one, the one im using also has the red ring, but doesnt have the 'better coating' as the newer DG models. I do recommend getting the DG model though...even though i have no complains with the old one..
