Sigma 70-210 f2.8 with Dynax 7

Hi all, I am new to this forum and reside in M'sia. I use a Dynax 7. May I ask whether any of you owns the above Sigma lens and whether you have any compatibility problem with 7 ? Where is the best place to buy Sigma lens in S'pore ? Thank you.

you want to consider the Minolta 70-210 F4 ? andy lee is selling it cheap. It's a steal if ya ask me.

unfortunately Fotoguide doesn't have stock of it for Minolta mount now. I was there a few days ago to get mine as well

finally got mine at AP. The other place which i know of which has one for minolta is John 3:16.

If u can afford n hav e patience,then wait for minolta new 70-200 f2.8 G SSM 'D' lens (at least $1950) to arrive in S'pore.Original lenses give u the best performance.If not consider buy minolta 70-210 f4 from Andylee as suggested Also i heard it comes with a kenko 2X teleconverter.

The latest Sigma lenses dont support Minolta AF mount. Since Sigma is not keen to do business with Minolta,why should we buy from it(Sigma).This is jus my personal opinion. In this case "Customer is always rite".

On e other hand,i really hope Sigma HSM and OS len can soon be compatitible with Minolta SLR camera soon.

yeah, I am waiting for 28-70 MM F2.8 G SSM D . But I "heard" it will only be released during fall of 2003. ..........

it is a long wait...........

Thanks ninelives,anyway cannot believe that no one is interested in this lens.ha ha.there was a time when this lens is sought by a lot of people. i have the pics taken with it & the 2x converter to show ready buyers.feel free to sms me 97627822 or visit me @ Funan IT Mall,#06-06.lens fungus free,view to appreciate.thanks.true blue minoltians should know wat's on #06-06
