Sigma 60mm F2.8 DN "Art" lens for M4/3

Just curious, "sample pics" for what (the lens or images made by the lens) ? Anyway, I would not base my purchase of a lens by looking at low res jpg images on the internet.. Good Luck!! For me, its a pretty inexpensive lens that can help me make some great images...nuff said... I guess if you are skeptical about getting it then don't buy one...just get the Olympus 60 instead...You will probably be more happy...Best thing to do is try out the lens with your favorite body at the camera store...

Anyway here is some jpgs from a flckr group... Flickr: The SIGMA 60mm F2.8 DN Pool...

My 30mm is in the mail (from BH) and I will order the 19mm next week... Cheers ;)

nice pics :)

Is it selling in Singapore already?

Think ms colors is...but no stock ... from what I asked last week

Just check the MFT chart for 60 f2.8 (I presume is 60mm @ f2.8),pretty impressive, sharp from center to edge, edge sharpness seem like better than 19 & 30. I see up to 11.25mm diagonal.
Hope I m not wrong? Still learning how to read MFT chart.

Just gotten hold of this lens, there's stocks already locally. Haven't got chance to test outdoor day, just a couple @ F7.1, and F16, some quick & dirty tests, with multiclamp & EP5, no sharpness increase, pretty much OOC jpeg, except a little WB tweak.

@F7.1, 13sec

Centre crop

Corner Crop

@F16, 60sec. the starburst looks good.

There's some slight flare though not a big concern so far. More test to come. Pretty impressive results from a lens that < half of the Olympus version, though i don't do macro

how much is the lens?

Its 2xx @ Parisilk. can call them to check again.

A few more, these are @F2.8, some tweaking of curves and square crop. No sharpening. Was using focus peaking to manual focus.

I got this lens last week. This lens is the real deal :). Nice contrast, super sharp wide open, nice bokeh, and of course cheap! Excellent for portraits.
If you've been considering getting the oly 45/75 and can live with the 1.3 stop difference, get this lens.
If you've been considering the 60 macro and don't actually need the macro, this lens is a no brainer..

wow..really looks good!! at the price of $2XX!!! i be damn....................time to open up my wallet soon..:P

Pretty impressive! Hope they also come out with equivalent to 75mm f1.8. Of course if price is also half...viola. No horse run la.

Nice! Anyone did a comparison between it, the Oly and the Pana 45/2.8?

At least DxO thinks the Sigma has the best IQ...

Thanks, no comparison as it is difficult against different focal length or u meant 60/2.8? i dun have that lens. one thing about this is there's some floating group of lens, which when not in power and u shake it, you can hear something moving. when power up, it's ok. otherwise it's nicely designed lens, abit too arty to abuse it:)

I meant the two 60/2.8 from Sigma and Olympus and the Panasonic 45/28, different focal lengths but both still 1:1 macro primes. It's still feasible to compare the optical performance.

Don't have leh so can't really comment, have seen Ming thein blog abt the Oly 60 which seems superb. I'm happy with this lens though I still grab the O75 as the 1.8 and dof works better for me. should use this more often.
