I rather use a normal lens. How much faster is the auto focus. Unless you are shooting fast objects the use of such lens in my humble opinon a luxury.

I love manual focus lens and use them all the time

But when shooting action, simplest example is your 1 - 2 year old playing in the living room, manual focus can be chalenging

ya. the sony/km its af already fast to me... how fast can a sigma get form its hsm, though it doesnt come with alpha mount. anyway it is just a 50mm
