erm, wait, is there a constant f2.6 zoom?

paiseh, the angenieux is f2.6 constant
but the camera can only read it at f2.8.

angenieux f2.6? Oh my... sorry, i'm really newbie in the world of SLR, i really never heard of this lens... is it still under production? It must be very very expensive...

Ok, seems like alot of ppl also using the Tamron 28-70 f/2.8, hmm.. now i've another choice.... aiseh

its no longer in production.

tokina somehow bought the right or watever to manufacture this lens. its the Tokina AF28-70 f2.6-2.8. its available in several camera makes and mounts.

as for the quality of the Tokina, i do not know.

the quality of the Angenieux... some say that it beats the AFS28-70 f2.8D. i think it does not lose to the Nikkor. :)
well, the Nikkor costs S$2.9k+- and it is AF-S... better flare resistance too.

price-wise u can get the Angenieux lens for around S$1.8k used, thereabouts. quite a rare lens.

the Tokina, around S$400 used.

read alot of good reviews on the Tamron AF28-75 f2.8. it costs around S$500 used. seems like a good choice. it is small and light too.

bring along a laptop when buyin lenses so as not to get lemons.
