Dunno. Never chk. I shoot everything manual. Manual right up to the body and flash unit. Never bothered with TTL, TTLBL, AA or A. Always a bit off. You can check the exif data as I did not do any editing.

really? i'm impressed!
but i don't know how to check EXIF becos i hate using softwares. they confuse the mind like what Photoshop does. really, why use Photoshop? all the great photographers never had PS. photographers like Ken Rockwell will never use PS becos he is that good.

well done. hardly haf ppl use Manual on flashes. i tot i'm the last few with my SB16B on my lousy S2Pro. i want to get the Canon 1DMKII too becos it gives off filmlike quality. i hope to buy one soon in the B/S forum.

nice.

pls my friend, do not flame me.
i m jus a newbie who loves photography and is keen to learn from u pros here. :embrass:
i drink plenty of Kopi everyday becos i work very long hours and reading posts in CS relaxed my mind.

i'm upset that many ppl insults my idol, Ken Rockwell. he is so good u can see his photos. no PS. he advocates JPEG too becos like all real pro, he nails the shot the first time and everytime. saves himself the sadness of editing and goin through the nightmarish Photoshop.

Photoshop is so not-pro. i want to be like Ken Rockwell one day.

halo my friend, kopi, yes.
apparently my co. thinks i drink kopi everyday and everytime. sad to say, when u old liao, the co. no longer thinks highly of u.
too much kopi = high expenses = excessive staff = older staff = useless = retrenchment/sacking = days of roaming the streets with a cammie and posing like the great KRW.

i hope to be like ken rockwell and travel around the world giving seminars and talks.

i will follow him!

And if you become KRW II , I will follow you!

The image here is using D70 or D70s. Cannot remember which one. I have both. No post processing. Taken in JPEG. Under yellow lighting. Low light. Ceiling is 1 1/2 storey high. Sigma Lens EXDC 2.8 18 -50mm. Using SB800 flash unit
Check the EXIF. It will tell you shot with D70 or D70s. Once you used flash, is the ambient yellow lighting still significant?

Nope. Just nice. Better than when using Kit Lens

You mean on the kit lens you will get yellow? If so, then something is probably wrong with your exposure. You sure you're using the same shutter speed, aperture and flash power? What about filters?

When you use flash, unless your shutter speed/aperture combination give a correct exposure for ambient light, you should not see yellow at all if your WB is corrected for flash or daylight.
