Hi Sjchng, am very curious how did you shoot this at the same level as the bird? Did you ambush it by climbing a tree!!!

Hi anhyeuem,
Haha of course...not. This bird actually likes to fly low and quite often you see her hopping on the ground as well.
Plus she allows you to approach her quite closely before flying away.

Hi kc, this should be a Peregrine Falcon & not a Crested Goshawk.

wow amazing shots! the 75-300 seems like a good lens to get for birding.. do you guys use tripod.
